Are you an undergraduate student who would like to obtain clinical experience in Counseling? This is a great opportunity for students majoring in psychology. Common Ground is offering a great way to acquire the upper hand for admission into graduate school and employment before/after graduation.

Macomb County Crisis Center

The Macomb County Crisis Center is a great place to gain valuable experience!

The Center offers a 44-hour volunteer training program in the skills you will really need to have:

Active listening
Suicide assessment
Crisis intervention
Sexual assault recovery
Grief counseling
Domestic violence counseling
Community resources
And much more!

Macomb County Crisis Center requires a 1 year commitment of 4 hours a week.  Part-time employment opportunities are available for talented volunteers! Weekend training begins Friday, September 18th, 2009.  Call now, 586.307.9100, for more information and start building your skills...and your resume!
